As a student, joining a club can offer unforgettable experiences. Here is an essay about my most memorable club experience. I participated in a "Classic Reading" club. Before each class, I would make thorough preparations as required by the teacher. When the class began, the teacher would first select some interesting nursery rhymes for us to copy in our notebooks. Then, she would read them to us passionately with a smile on her face, natural and generous gestures, clear enunciation, and rhyming at the end of the sentences. This made us eager to try. Next, she let us practice reading by imitation and finally chose several classmates to read on the stage. I remember being recommended to read "Buying Vinegar and Cloth": "A grandpa surnamed Du went to the street to buy vinegar and cloth. After buying vinegar and cloth, he turned back and saw an eagle catching a rabbit. He put down the cloth, set aside the vinegar, and hurried to chase the eagle and the rabbit. The eagle flew away, the rabbit ran off, the vinegar was spilled, and the cloth was soaked with vinegar." As soon as I finished, thunderous applause erupted in the classroom, and the teacher gave me a thumbs-up, making me extremely happy. When we got tired of reading, the teacher would let us watch cartoons. We watched them with great interest, and the hilarious plots always made the classmates burst into laughter.
