期待一個涼爽的夏天英語作文初一

Summer is the second season of the year. When summer comes, it is usually hot and sunny. However, I am longing for a cool summer this year. The days in a cool summer would be longer and the nights shorter. The sun would rise early and set late, but the heat would not be overwhelming. The world would become a green place with green leaves on the trees, green grass by the river, and green plants in the fields. Beautiful flowers would be everywhere. Birds would sing from morning till night. In such a cool summer, all the children could enjoy swimming in rivers or lakes without feeling too hot. The old people could sit under big trees and enjoy the cool air comfortably. And the farmers could work in the fields without being bothered by the intense heat. I truly hope to experience such a wonderful and cool summer.
