Moreover, climate change has adverse effects on biodiversity and ecosystems. Many species are on the verge of extinction due to their inability to adapt to new environmental conditions. This not only disrupts the balance of nature but also undermines the ecosystems that support food production. The reduction in biodiversity implies a decrease in natural resources, further intensifying the pressure on the environment and food production. In response to these challenges, the international community has started to take action. The signing of the Paris Agreement is a crucial step, with countries pledging to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to limit the increase in average global temperatures. On an individual level, we can contribute by reducing energy consumption, choosing clean energy, having a reasonable diet, and minimizing waste.
